Niyogi Books, in cooperation with Matrix Duo, released My Red Butterfly, the debut book of Avinash Pushkarna, the additional commissioner of customs, Central Excise and Service Tax. Dignitaries present at the launch included Delhi’s former chief minister Sheila Dikshit, Antara Dev Sen (daughter of Nobel Prize winner Amartya Sen) and Bikash D Niyogi of Niyogi Books.

In the book which he has completed in seven years, he has tried to take readers in the love saga of 80’s and 90’s, a time when letters were being used as a sole messenger by the lovers as well as Bollywood songs were used to film in a peculiar suaveness. The whole story swirls around the protagonist Rohit who started loving a girl at a tender age of 16 while aspiring to be a doctor. A very heart-warming touching story, My Red Butterfly is just like an old red wine served fresh.

Capexil Book Division is all set participate in the forthcoming London Book Fair (March 14-16, 2017) in a big way by forming India Pavilions in three dedicated areas of the fair – Children’s Area, Academics Area and Publishing Solutions/Tech Area – as per the MAI Scheme of the Government of India.

National Book Trust, India has recently called for the submission of books under the Subsidized Publication of books, under which financial assistance is provided for the publication of textbooks, discipline oriented supplementary reading material and reference books for students at under-graduate and post graduate level in the Indian universities and diploma level in technical institutions. The prime objective is to provide assistance to authors and publishers for producing books of an acceptable standard at reasonable prices.

To be held from January 7-15, 2017 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, the New Delhi World Book Fair 2017 will once again open its doors to the book lovers across the world. The fair is organized by National Book Trust, India with India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) as the co-organiser.
