International Publishers Congress: An Update

The 35th International Publishers Congress will take place in Kuala Lumpur from 5-9 July, 2026. The IPA Congress 2026 reception in Bologna Children’s Book Fair attracted more than 40 visitors to the Malaysian stand, including the IPA President and Secretary General, in the presence of several government officers from Malaysia who also presented several book-related events in Kuala Lumpur leading up to the IPA Congress in July 2026.

Meanwhile, more group registrations for the IPA Congress are coming in from all corners of the world, led by Malaysia’s own Pelangi Publishing Group, one of the nation’s leading educational publishers with a strong regional presence that had just signed up 13 of their team members. So far, more than 250 seats have been snapped up. Registered participants so far are coming from over 30 countries, all continents are represented.
